Challenge
The search was delayed due to internal staff changes and hiring restrictions. Previous agencies had submitted technically strong candidates, but they lacked alignment with the firm’s culture and leadership expectations.
Solution
Once restrictions were lifted, we worked closely with HR and the hiring manager to fully understand the role requirements, including autonomy, fixed income expertise, and the ability to lead while remaining hands-on. We focused on identifying candidates who matched both the technical and cultural expectations of the business.
Results
We shortlisted eight candidates, with four progressing to interview. One candidate stood out throughout the process and further strengthened their application by providing eight testimonials from their previous employer. The client proceeded with the hire, and the candidate has now successfully joined the business.
