A global private markets manager had a vacancy within its US-based Product Development team. Despite reviewing 80+ direct applicants over three months, there was a clear shortage of candidates with the required technical experience launching new products within an asset management environment.

Solution

Following exclusive engagement, we worked closely with the hiring manager to define the non-negotiables versus flexible elements of the brief and agreed a structured search timeline. We conducted thorough screening, presenting a highly focused shortlist of candidates that matched the requirements.

Results

Partnering with us enabled the firm to expand its reach beyond the city where the office is located and access a passive candidate pool that would not have otherwise engaged. From a targeted search that reached 70 candidates, we delivered a shortlist of six. One candidate has accepted an offer and will be relocating for the role, while another is at an advanced stage for a second headcount created off the back of the search.
