Challenge

The client needed to create a brand-new European marketing function to support UK and European distributors. The role scope, compensation structure, and ideal candidate profile were initially undefined, creating additional complexity before the search could begin.

Solution

We carried out a detailed market assessment across the European distribution marketing landscape, identifying candidates with distributor engagement experience, multilingual capabilities, and backgrounds within US-headquartered investment managers operating in lean structures. This ensured both technical suitability and strong cultural alignment.

Results

The partnership began with a senior leadership hire and expanded into multiple additional searches across channel and product marketing. In total, six hires were successfully placed across London and Paris, building a fully operational European Wealth marketing team.
